Ayiti Pap Peri is a film-documentary project which started in 2019. The filmmaker followed professionals who were living abroad at the time of the deadly 2010 earthquake who decided to go back to Ayiti and work for this country despite numerous challenges. Ayiti Pap Peri traveled throughout Ayiti. The film shows the human and economic potential in the country. It is a film-documentary to give hope, for an awakening of the conscience while it is not ignoring the elements that keep Ayiti in this category of poorest country in the hemisphere.
Cassandre Thrasybule is an author, public speaker and creative media professional. She is highly interested in philosophy, literature and sociology with an emphasis on research in the field of interaction within culture/groups. Cassandre, a journalist and film-documentary producer who publishes in Creole, French and English, is the 2019 award recipient of a medal by the French academy Arts-Lettres-Sciences for her productions. In 2021 Cassandre was the award winner of the best documentary of the Montreal film festival in the Human Rights documentary category. Cassandre directed and produced Cassures: Nos familles entre Haïti et ailleurs ( 2015). Exiled inland ( Egzile lakay yo) Cassures II ( 2019).
